1. Booking Policy
To reserve a session with Myali Photography, clients must adhere to the following booking policy:

Booking Process: All sessions are subject to availability. To secure your date and time, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total invoice is required at the time of booking.

Booking Confirmation: Once your deposit is received, you will receive a confirmation email with your session details.

Balance Payment: The remaining balance is due 7 days before the session date. If the balance is not paid by the due date, the session may be canceled, and the deposit will be forfeited.
2. Payment Policy
We accept the following methods of payment for all photography services:

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to book your session. This deposit will be applied to the total cost of your session.

Payment Methods: We accept payments through Cash, Zelle, and Bank Transfer.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please review our policies:

Client Cancellations:

If you cancel your session more than 7 days before the session date, the deposit will not be refunded, but you may reschedule once for a future date.

If you cancel your session less than 7 days before the session date, the full session fee is due, and no refund will be provided.

Rescheduling:

You may reschedule your session at least 7 days before the scheduled date with no additional fee, depending on availability.

Any changes to the session date within 7 days of the scheduled session may incur a rescheduling fee of $50-75 to cover administrative costs.

Photographer Cancellations: In the unlikely event that the Photographer must cancel or reschedule the session due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances, the deposit will be refunded in full. You will also have the option to reschedule the session at no additional charge.
4. Travel & Location Policy

Local Travel: For locations within a 15 mile radius from Dearborn Heights, MI, no additional travel fee will be charged.

Travel Beyond 15 Miles: For travel beyond 15 miles, a travel fee of $1.00 per mile will apply.

For out-of-town shoots, clients will be responsible for the Photographer’s travel and accommodation. A detailed quote for these expenses will be provided at the time of booking.

Travel charges will be confirmed and discussed before booking and will be outlined in the final contract.
5. Image Usage & Copyright Policy

Copyright: All images taken by Myali Photography are the property of Myali Photography.

Clients are granted a limited license to use the images for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as social media sharing and printing for personal use.

Clients are not permitted to sell, license, or use the images for commercial purposes without prior written permission from the Photographer.

Myali Photography reserves the right to use all images in their portfolio, website, social media platforms, and promotional materials unless the client has specifically requested that images not be used in such a manner (to be stated in the contract).
6. Editing & Delivery Policy

Editing Time: Please allow 3 - 4 weeks from the date of your session for editing and final delivery of your images.

Final edited images will be delivered via a private online gallery, where you can view, download, and order prints.

The images will be delivered in JPG format.

Additional Edits: If additional editing or retouching beyond the standard editing (e.g., light skin retouching, color correction) is requested, an additional fee may apply.
7. Client Responsibilities
To ensure a smooth photography experience, we ask clients to adhere to the following responsibilities:

Punctuality: Please arrive on time for your session. If you're late, the session time will not be extended, and the session fee will remain the same.

Location Preparation: If your session takes place at your home, venue, or any location that you have booked, please ensure the space is ready for the shoot. We will be happy to assist with minor adjustments, but additional fees may apply for excessive time spent setting up.

Guests and Children: For family or event sessions, we ask that you manage any children or guests during the session to ensure the photos go smoothly.
8. Liability & Safety Policy
We take every precaution to ensure the safety of our clients during photoshoots. However, the Photographer is not responsible for any accidents or injuries that may occur during the session, including on-location or at events.

Client Indemnity: By booking a session with Myali Photography, the Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Photographer and any affiliates for any injury, damage, or loss that may occur during the photoshoot.
9. Additional Policies

Weather & Outdoor Shoots: For outdoor sessions, we reserve the right to reschedule the shoot in the event of extreme weather conditions (e.g., rain, snow, heavy winds, etc.) that may interfere with the quality of the photos. We will notify clients within 3 days of the scheduled session if a reschedule is necessary.

Pets: If pets will be involved in the session, please inform us beforehand, so we can prepare accordingly.
